Default Update cost

Quick question, how much for the shock update and the steering update?

Joe
We got ours in early 07 I believe and the shocks were 1700 and the column was 650.

The prices have changed slightly so the shocks are now $2000.00 for a set and the column update kit is $750.00.

Do you still have your FE cars Joe?

No, I sold everything to focus on the kids and such. Kids are a little older and looking to get back into things a little bit. The FE is a great car, just trying to find the right deal.

Have to say, Zetec is looking good to me at the moment though. If I got an FE car, Doug (is he still driving) might decide it is a bumper car and cost me too much money.

No worries, Doug hasn't been behind the wheel in 5 years or so. You just need to worry about him at the next karting event.

We were in the same situation when we were looking for a change. The Zetec would've been a great way to go for us, but we couldn't touch a car within our budget (in some cases 2x what it would cost for a Pinto car). The parity issue with the Al Head, Iron Head, and Zetec always seemed to pop up a lot too. If we had the budget to be a top tier team, a Zetec would probably be a good way to go so that we could do the F2000 series here and there, but the FE is turning out to be a good fit for us.

Hey! I'm proud to say that I have NEVER had contact with ANYONE on any track EVER, with only ONE exception—YOU at the ApexSpeed karting events year after year. I believe Keith can say the same thing, too. I'm sure there are others.

What's that saying? The only common element in all of your failed relationships is you.

See ya in February.

I can't say I have. I've had a couple of incidents with FMs.

Forgot about those. Are you sure Joe wasn't driving?
