Great footage, thanks for sharing. I like the square roll bar on the Jag.

Certainly great footage and quite a story

I also noticed that Daniel Stanfill's Austin Healey D Production winner had no rollbar. Truly a different era

    Default Best part

Best part about that is except for the lack of the bridge over the front straight the track and facilities in the film look pretty much the same as the year it closed.

Boy do I miss that place (don't miss the Sunday night traffice heading home though). A real race track not like the large autocross things they build today and call race tracks. I guess that one reason the Glen is still so popular with drivers.

Could anyone imagine what that would have been like in an original Can Am car??

Having driven an ex Revson McLaren MK1C at LimeRock, Flat through T1 at the Bridge in a flat bottom Atlantic was enough for me.

Thanks for sharing. Much fun to watch. I've always been thankful I had the opportunity to race there before it went away.
