Live in car video

Does anyone here have experience with real-time live video feeds from a racecar. I have an application at work that I could really use some lightweight wireless cameras to mount on a robot. The ones on they use on TV would be perfect, I just want to find out what type of cameras and transmitters that they use. Are they simply go-pro styles with a wireless transmitter? Any help guys?

GoPro Hero 3+ Black..... This is the camera that a lot of networks now a days are using for shots that need a high quality camera but are in very small/restricted areas. It has WiFi built into it which is a bigger plus.

Haven't worked with them since the early 2000s but believe they are the standard go to group for equipment or services for the networks.
