Default What happened at Summit Point

It appears from Race Monitor that only Alex Mayer finished the race on Saturday! Can someone provide a report?

From what I understand when Slahor abruptly slowed Alastair McEwan had to check up to keep from running into Slahor.....dude behind McEwan didn't and took McEwan out.

Yet another reason I'm liking the standing starts.

The guy behind him, in an FE, had nowhere to go. I barely missed the three of them checking up, as did several of us around them.

And standing starts wouldn't solve anything. So Jason breaks on the standing start, everyone is going to be quick enough to go around him while stationary? With mixed classes and various acceleration levels? And how many cars you think would we have stalling at the start? It would be a mess, have you seen Indy Car trying it?

Maybe you haven't been following the few West Coast races with standing starts, we've had our own run group. I was in no way saying as a mixed group.

You can see the debris on the track the couple of laps after the start there. It wasn't terrible, seen worse.
