Default DSR, 1991 Prince SR-5 for sale

    SOLD

Car has not raced since 2007. It has a rich history of many wins including regional championships. It is a fast fun car that will perform well at the regional level and would make a good autocross car. It is powered by a 2003 Yamaha R1/FI with Roxanne's Headers stainless steel exhaust and includes a complete spare, never raced 2003 R1/FI on a custom stand, fresh Koni shocks, three sets of wheels and spare parts, hubs, rotors, brakes, chains, sprockets, suspension partsand more. The car was completely rebuilt in 2000, repowered in 2005 and rebodied in 2006. Car needs a new fuel cell which I will include, new belts and of course new tires to be race ready. $6,900 OBO. I need the room in my shop. Car is located in Florida. 727-992-8219

Good price for a quick car. I'd buy it but I already have a billion other cars that take all my time and money. Good luck with the sale JR.

I wish I hadn't just purchased a Thunder Roadster or I'd be making a drive down to FL for a new toy.

I too have quite a few projects at the moment, but it is tempting. What can I quickly sell?????? Custom motorcycle rolling chassis? Austin Healey 3000 kit car? C4 Corvette project? You have me thinking.

    JR,
Is this car a gound up Prince design, or is it based on a Van Diemen F2000 (as many of his cars were) ?

Also, does it have a differential (limited slip ?), or a solid rear axle ?

Can you provide photos of the car without the body work ?

    Thanks,
    Raisin Racer

What is the wheelbase of the car? Do you happen to have any pics with the body panels off?

    Thanks.

    JR,
When the car was rebodied, was it rebodied with a new design, or simply new bodywork ? Is the bodywork available commercially ?

Is the bodywork one piece, 2 piece, or ?? (Curious how many people it takes to remove the bodywork.

How wide are the wheels ?

Still curious if the car has a differential.

    Thanks

    Default Re-body

Body is a Beasly built for a LeGrande and still available. But it was modified (widened) to fit this car.

One person removes 3 piece body.

Tires are 7" and 9" but I have also run 6" and 8"

    No differential.

Prince design except body. Original Price body was all aluminium. I still have that body but it needs repairs.
