Too bad. If not for the spin in front you probably would have been clean through there.

Next time you crash spectacularly, please be sure to keep the water off of the lens so I can see more clearly.

Hey, Jim.

I have once again taken over typing Tilden's post as he is currently cooking Johnsonville brats and sauerkraut. He is practicing for the runoffs.

I will be sure he has mini windshield wipers on his camera for the next race. We do need a better view.

See ya.

Just watched the video. Looks like you both hit a slick patch of track. Pretty ugly but certainly could've been worse. Glad your OK. Any damage to the gearbox?

Haven't had the pleasure of rain and slicks in my FE yet. VIR with rains on was terrifying enough. Helps to be able to actually see where your going when you're on track.

Hi all,

So far, so good. Gearbox seems OK. 3-4K in repairs. Stings but not as bad as it could have been. Lucky me.

Totally agree that we hit a slick spot. If I could have had the view of the camera, I would have driven straight through. Maybe. First reaction was to avoid a possible collision. Think we can get one of thoses don't hit anything thingies like on a Mercedes for the FE. How about altering the "automatic park/assist/do it for you thingy" to an "automatic grid/assist/do it for you thingy"? .....Jim?...any thoughts?

Later,

TK
