    Default Name this cable doodad

    All -

Shuffling cables around in my car. The throttle cable has a small stop on it that uses the attached hoozit to keep the throttle cable from falling backwards.

Can you name what this is, and where I would go to get a few more?

Cable barrel nut, or throttle cable barrel, or almost any combination that includes cable and barrel

edit: or a cable stop.. Guess you can call it just about anything!

I think they are called a wire stop or cable stop. We used them on go kart throttle linkage.

    You can try bmikarts.com

Yeah, and you can find it at a decent hardware store. They may not have one exactly like that but something similar that'll do the job.

A little noticed thingy. Both Lowe's and Home Depot have a massive section of drawers full of oddity hardware like that cable stop. The drawers are not always easy to find being generally placed off in an odd isle of the store.

    P.S.
Once you find them you'll be there twice a month.
