Helmet regs ?

Wasn't there a thread discussing SCCofA's helmet age regulations regarding years of stickers, ie 2005 or 2010, and when required and all that ?
I tried a search of apexspeed but apparently put in the wrong words....
Any input appreciated.
The clubs website is of little assistance, again likely my fault, but even trying to find anything remotely addressing this issue made me head to the bar.

Mike - I have a hard copy of the 2014 GCR you are welcome to come by and look at during the NARRC. It is keep in the motorsports section of the motorhome libary.

The current regulation is in GCR 9.3.20.C.2

Crash helmets approved by the Snell Foundation with Snell sticker 2005 or later Special Application (SA2005) or SAH2010, or by the SFI with a SFI Sticker SFI 31.1, or by the FIA standard 8860-2004 or later, or British Standards Institute BS6658-85 type A/FR.

The helmets compiling with next standard (SA2015) will start to become available next year. If past practice is any indication, SA2015 helmets will be generally available in 2016 and the SA2005 helmets will be dropped from the approved list.
