    Default thank you

I'm glad you enjoy them. It's been a lot of fun going through them and getting them up for the world to see.

What's even more fun is that I've been hearing from a lot of old racing friends as a result of their being made aware of my stuff.

Too bad we can't turn back the clock and do it all over again.!!

Default and speaking of old friends....

As a result of my joining this site I heard from Steve Jennings, an old friend from the Atlantic days. Today he told me he had seen Cliff Hansen at Willow Springs this past weekend.

A few minutes after that Cliff called. Hadn't had any contact with him for roughly 30 years. Some serious bench racing during that conversation.

This is Cliff in his gorgeous March 77B

Just spent the past few hours here scrolling through the past. Not such a pleasant thing at times...until now.

Great stuff. Thank you so much for all your work and for sharing.

    Default thanks Chris....

I'm glad that I'm able to share the visual record of what was definitely a great time for me personally and racing in general. It makes it more worthwhile that there are people out there who appreciate it as I did.

At the risk of repeating myself, I have roughly 75k images in my archives. I will be adding to flickr as often as reality allows.

    So stay tuned.

    Thanks again.

Life has been rather hectic for me the past couple of years but I'm slowly getting back to some semblance of normalcy.

I haven't uploaded anything new to flickr for ages but in response to a request for images of Price Cobb in his March 76B I've added about 3 dozen snaps of him from the '76 season. They are the latest additions to my Formula Atlantic set.....

Default Thank you for the kind words

As I've told many people, many times, I was fortunate in the extreme to have been where I was, when I was.

I have several hundred more Atlantic snaps waiting to be uploaded. Unfortunately the real world keeps eating up the time I would like to spend on my images.

    Default Gilles

In response to a request from Motor Sport Magazine I've recently been scanning pics of Gilles to help illustrate a two-part piece GKirby is doing about Gilles.

I've added them to my Gilles set....

    All my sets....

There should be more added in the not too distant future.

    Provamo:

You are most welcome. It is a massive pleasure for me to get these images out for people who didn't get to see the action first hand.

It always reminds me how fortunate I was to have stumbled onto the Altantic series when I did.

Believe me it was wayyyyyyyyyyyy fun to have been involved with that little bit of craziness.

i know i got to the Hamilton street race fiasco.................but my vantage point was largely due thanks to CTV's extensive coverage of The Players Series............one benefit of living in a New York state "border town"

The total in my Atlantic set is now over 400 as I cleared my hard drive of the Atlantic images that I've scanned so far.

Fair number of Gilles and Rosberg images now.

This is one I had forgotten I had of Gilles.......

    Default update

flickr stats tell me i've been getting some hits on my images from this thread.

since it's been over 2 years since i last posted here i've added quite a few images to all my sets. roughly 1600 images total now.

the largest quantity of recent additions is in the testing set. a majority of the images have not been published elsewhere.

bittersweet all this is. great times but now too many in the pics are gone or are dealing with serious maladies.

as i've said to anyone who will listen, i was extremely fortunate to have been where i was, when i was and had the access i did.

i truly believe i was able to participate in one of the greatest periods in motorsport history
