    Default HPD Wiring Install Questions

I have a few questions regarding the installation of the Fit chassis loom.
First, regarding the fuel pump out lead - I assume that the lead goes through a momentary switch to ground. Is that correct?
Second, the ECU Diagnostic LED - assume that goes through the LED (maintaining proper polarity) to ground?
Lastly, we are using an external fuel pump. Can I replace the loom connector with terminals?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ray

I can't remember about the pump out off the top of my head but I do know that the ECU light is the power for the light. Hook that to one side, ground the other side.

No, not a momentary switch. An on-off toggle. One side gets the 12v supply fused with 15 amp and the other gets the switched fuel pump wire. Attached is the electrical installation manual.

One other thing - I thought the wire labeled "PO Switch" was for fuel pump out. Seems that lead is actually for an Oil Pressure warning light. PO = oil pressure...
