2.5 to 3 psi, a Holley regulator (like this one: http://www.holley.com/12-804.asp ) is the standard one used

It's been over thirty years but I remember using 3.5 to 4.0 psi and the Holley one to four lbs regulator. I believe we used dash six hose and fittings.

if u don't need one (float needle valves properly cut flow off), don't use one, with a fierce cam and first to second and second to third shifts you will need all the gas possible quickly and not limit HP by the regulators ......... definately find out who knows and has used them ....... put regulators on the three pumps on my air cooled super vee and even raising them to the highest it limited the HP, had to eliminate them in a wet sump system - Holley monster and two small electric box pumps (wet sump no longer allowed)
Turns out I have the correct regulator, as suggested. But it came w the car years ago, I never checked it. And guess what? It doesn't regulate. Runs at 7 psi all the time regardless of how you adjust it. I assume the diaphragm is lunched. New one to be picked up tomorrow.

It's a good time to go over why you guys are obsessed with using a regulator, what are the pros and cons in a rapid rise power creation engine ......... anyone or is it 'why not', or another part to fail and connections??? I would think it's binary, either the float needle valve works (no regulator) or it doesn't (regulator, hopefully non-restricting value used) ......
I use this one ......... https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...s.asp?RecID=86 ............ for my FC 32/36 with no problems, has a pressure relief valve in it, (guess that is a regulator LOL) ......use this because fuel cell has a top delivery port so needs priming with mechanical pump, and, I like the on board filter, just loosen and twist to empty contents, is a bendix type pump or I used to have one on my tr3 that was made by bendix
