    Default Mid-Ohio 2014

Well it's easy to say the last three trips to Mid-Ohio (2 last year) for F1600 have delivered some of the best races in Series history -- the field looks strong again for next weekend.

Over six races this year, three of them have been won by Masters (Goughary, Goughary, Bamford), yet there are more "kids" in the field than ever, pretty cool.

What's the scoop with hardly anyone registered?

I think people are slow at actually sitting down and using the DLB system. The other races were like this as well this year and then right before a flood of entries seems to show up on it!

I assumed there had to be a reason. Entries have been steady every event.

The DLB app is lousy no doubt but I don't think it takes days to fill out........

Seems to me to be way behind where the total usually is a week out. There are several front runners yet to register; nearly ten missing? I was thinking we would have a strong turnout in the Mid-West?

There are another 8 plus drivers I know who are regulars that will be there. We will be in the mid 20's as usual.

Last year at this event, on Saturday night I took the grandsons to Attica Raceway Park. What a blast. It was a great show.
On Friday night we went to a real drive-in movie. No such thing anymore in Florida. They thought it was a hoot.
Janice like to drive the back roads looking for Amish food stands.
Enjoy the local color while you are there.

+1 for Attica, 410 Sprint Cars are certainly cool.

One minor correction, Attica Raceway Park is FRIDAY, no Saturday.

Fourth of July program will include 410 & 305 Sprint Cars,UMP Late Models, and Trucks.

    It's Fan Appreciation Night

And after Attica anyone can drop by the Polestar/Formula Race Promotions paddock party/meet and greet (at the Polestar rig) on Saturday night - July 5!

Agren took her first win yesterday, can she repeat today? Good racing, as usual, at Mid-Ohio.
