Excellent for a Tuesday Richard, they don't come out of there with coral in their shins like the north shore, they come out with icesicles in their knees which melt ........ makes one wonder, George Castanza style, does size matter when they come out of there!!!

I would imagine that these guys suffer from a serious case of shrinkage!

Coral scrapes - what most people don't know is that coral scrapes can actually kill you.

Yes, the one thing a race driver may have contemplated, taking on North Shore Surf!! Perhaps Hemingway should have added that to the sport list, N' and the Artic Shore with shrinkage!!!!! .....
Oh, ....... North Shore is equal to the 'Pipeline' for the youngens'

I don't know, there are plenty of places in the world with seriously radical waves to surf. I just don't see where 'arctic surfing' would turn on the adrenaline. Looks kind of like Huntington Beach with ice.

    Default Cortez Banks

Here in Ca you always hear about the Big Wave contest @ Maverick's but the real unknown spot is Cortez Banks about 100miles offshore of San Diego. I'm not a surfer but have been there lobster diving. It's basically an underwater island which upwells from deep ocean to about 6' from surface (no land in site) . btw, big bugs out there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0Aaw4Jz4YQ
