The car really looks great. Real craftsmanship in your assembly . I really like the Mission and the work that Jim Nash has put into the car. I'm sure your going to be very happy with this new car. Hope to get to see it run this summer.

Thanks Bill, this car has been such a pleasure to assemble; easiest kit I've ever put together. Jim really has an attention to detail and is superb to work with.

My shocks are on the way, engine and exhaust will be soon. Some fabrication (my choice) of some panels in the seating area will be next. After that the engine plumbing and electrical. I'm targeting early spring for the first shakedown run here in Texas.

My best wishes to you all up there in the deep freeze. 18 below this coming Tuesday? Yikes.

Jim Nash design flair and careful construction and your workmanship make this car a standout. While you can't tell from these pics the bodywork is exceptional too.

Any ideas on color(s) the car will be painted? That Jim Nash / Mike Devins body has a lot of good potential for color(s). Frankly, we've seen too many orange Missions

Two questions:

1) The lower front shock/push rod mount on the control arm: Is it welded in place to prevent it from rotating?

2) The rear suspension lower push-rod mount on the axle: What is the purpose of below the axle center line mounting position? Is this supposed to provide some kind of better mechanical advantage?

#1 Those lower mounts are bolt on with a single nut. They don't move. That style are pretty much universally used on cars with inboard front shocks

Car is looking super Greg. Just a reminder we are planning an FST race at Motorsports Ranch in Fort Worth this season as well as a couple at Hallett. Chuck Singletary and I are aware of the huge potential for the FST class in the Texas area and want to provide an FST series that makes it convenient for all of us out here to participate in.

Fronts will be from ARS per Jim Nash's specs. I found a good deal on a Penske 8760 and it is currently on its way to Stimola for a check out/revalving, etc.

Front suspension is now assembled, still checking clearances, bolt lengths and a preliminary alignment will be next. Jim has given me some car specific specs to work with as a baseline.

Also, a seat shell I've been working on prior to the bead/foam seat insert. Still haven't decided which system to use.

Body test fitting is in progress.

The car is just lacking paint, a throttle cable, the usual odds and ends and, sadly, an engine. Hopefully Jim will come through soon, but this year is becoming a washout.

Both Chuck Singletary and I had a gentleman from the Dallas area that may want to join the FST ranks next season stop and talk to us this week. We offered a car for him to do schooling and to help him along the way. We would love to have a Texas race next season so let's get a dialogue started about that possibility.
