    Default Tire Temp Data Aquisition

I'd like to rent a set of tire temp sensors to obtain real time tire temps. Does anyone have any photos of setups they used to secure the sensor strip to the suspension? I know that different cars will require different solutions, but if I could get a look at how a few people fabricated their solutions, it would help.

    Thanks,

    Jim

P.S. Just in case I wasn't clear, here's a photo of what I'm talking about (but with the important part not shown).

    I wish I understood everything I know.

    Check out http://www.competitiondata.com/sensors/pg6_temp.htm

Very small and reasonably priced and without an amplifier needed! The small size makes them easy to mount.
Though due to area that they run in, all IR tire sensors are subject to rocks and debris getting thrown at them and a flat tire will wipe them out, if in close proximity. It is best to build an enclosure around them with a hole for them to measure through. Less chance of killing off the sensor with a broken lens or worse...
If the price of 12 is too much, consider six and do one end of the car at a time, or 3 doing one wheel at a time.
