I found this article while doing some research on a set of cams we have in for processing. The article gives some pretty good examples of the type of parts that benifit from Cryogenic processing with examples of extended service life associated with the process.

BTW: We use a rather expensive DPM processor over a 48 hour cycle time and not a

styrofoam cooler filled with liquid nitrogen to dip parts in like some others out there.
