    Default 2014 Runoffs winning RaKaVon

The 2014 Runoffs winning RaKaVon is for sale. This car has been mechanically COMPLETELY rebuilt prior to the Runoffs. It has a brand new Brad Hulings 593 with the pipe and clutches also Hulings.

We also plan on doing a few more minor things to the car prior to the sale. This is a no holds barred top F500 2 stroke race car and can win every race with the right driver behind the wheel.

This car also out qualified every FF in the Laguna Runoffs field except one and that FF was .1 seconds faster.

The body could use some TLC and a paint job.

Tons of spares included $20,000. You cannot win the Runoffs in any car for less $$.

Contact me or the owner Charles Lemeron for more info

If you want to win a runoffs, buy this car! Until the SCCA does something to restrict the 593 this car in particular will be the way to go. I don't expect the SCCA to restrict the 593 anytime soon either.

This is a great car. We only have 6 total sessions on the car since we rebuilt it. Brian says there is more left in the car.

The car and driver was fastest in EVERY session at the Laguna Seca Runoffs.

Here are a few pics of the 2014 Runoffs winning F500. This car has a brand new Rotax 593 motor with new clutch setup for this package. This car will fit a bigger driver.

Any question just call or email.

Cockpit side view Check out the radiator. 2 of these monsters.o

Here is the front suspension and a good view of the radiator ducting.

This car is ready to win any race.

Check out the airbox that actually works.

The engine was disassembled in tech but is ready to go.

Lots and lots of spares including:

Front and rear control arms ALL
Front and rear uprights and bearing carriers
    Brand new nose
    Used but very good diffuser
    Caliper, pads
    3 sets of wheels
2 sets gently used tires, each set I session qualifying only. Slicks
1 set new used for race. Used hard but still good for practice. Slicks
1 set of new NEVER MOUNTED SLICKS
1 set of rains used 1 total session ever.
Complete set of used but very good clutches with all new bushings.

The sale of this car also include the top quality body molds for this extremely aerodynamic car. The molds alone are worth as much as the car.

This car actually handles like a race car. I suggest that you take a look at the Q3 times from the Runoffs and compare this car to the very best FF cars in the entire USA period.

    Look here.

This car is capable of winning EVERY race including the Runoffs and we will help with the continued setup.

This car must sell. We need to move on. See first post for contact info.

Actually this car was the very first F500 in the F500 race at the Runoffs. I will admit that this car costs a lot more but it was 32 seconds in front of that other "true" F500.

Realizing that I have the good fortune of working at one of the world's leading universities, I conferred with my colleagues and they assure me that even now: 593>500.

    As they say QED.

I did propose to the CRB that now that Rotax 593 and the 600cc MC's are in the F500 class that it should be renamed F600. Their response was that they would wait awhile before making the name change. Perhaps you should ask the CRB again for the name change.

Jeff, you are correct in that the Rotax 593 engine is a 600cc version of the 493 500cc engine with a bigger bore. That said the class is called F500 and the 593 engine with inlet restrictor is an SCCA APPROVED option for use in F500. Thus our car was also a "true" F500 as was EVERY OTHER CAR IN THE RACE NO MATTER WHAT ENGINE THEY HAD.
