So, I've heard 1001 stories on this stuff. We can include Amsoil and any other product that claimed to increase horsepower.

Does anyone have any "friends" that have tried any of it and have any opinions? Dyno'd support would be especially interesting...

    Jeff,
I used to sell Slick 50 through my Auto Parts store way back in the late 70's early 80's and was never impressed with it. It is as the name implies a slick way to lighten your wallet by $50.00. Slick 50 went by different names one of which was Lubri Lon and another Petro Lon as well as several other forgotten names. All of them came from the same address in Texas. I tried this stuff and never found any improvement in milage, performance or engine temps. This stuff is just a gimmic for the uninformed consumer. My advise based on 30+ years of experience is to stick with a high quality racing motor oil, synthetic or petrolium base as to your personal liking. Valvoline, Kendall, Mobil 1, Redline, etc, etc.
