[FONT=Verdana] Buttonwillow, Calif. (June 26, 2012) – The Pacific F2000/Formula F Super Series Championship Presented by Corsa Car Care originally scheduled to compete in rounds nine and ten at Portland International Raceway, July 13-15, has announced that race has been replaced on the schedule. The series will return to Buttonwillow Raceway Park on September 8 & 9 joining VARA for their Oktoberfest weekend.
The Formula F Super Series, not slated to compete in Portland as the series was expanding from eight events in 2011 to ten events in 2012, will once again participate with the two liter cars providing for a full 12 races in its second full season.
The schedule change will allow competitors a two month break during the summer before returning to competition for the final four rounds of the series.
The remainder of the schedule remains intact as rounds eleven and twelve will be held October 5-7 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with VARA for the Jeff Saltman Memorial weekend.
