Our customer has decided to sell the SV that we rebuilt for him in 2011/2012, with only 2 short test days and one race weekend on it since.
Chassis stampings: "AM 72, SV, 14" SCCA roll bar stamp: 33-777, Royale chassis tag "RP14-14"
Extensive records including original bill of sale for chassis and gearbox.

SCCA logbook from time it was shipped to the US in 1974 (have to verify),(6 races only) . ICSCC log book as well (1 race weekend).

Engine by FAT Performance in California (dyno sheet available), Ohlins shocks, 2 sets of wheels/tires, 6" front, 8" rear, (one new set of Goodyear slicks), Panasport and Jongblod. Willians belts good until 2016. Most fasteners are AN.

Numerous spares as well as most original parts; shift linkage, oil sump tank, lines, bolts, brake calipers, tacho, gear sets in case, etc.

We've recently completed a full inspection, chassis detail, oil change and valve adjustment, I'd take this to the track tomorrow -it's that good.

Asking $29,750. Interesting partial trades considered as well.

I have #1. One-piece body, original fiberglass front wings, and the rear cover. whoever buys this should take the air scoops and pull molds ASAP. They are unobtanium. I had to graft the glass fronts to VW cooling tin bottoms, the bottoms had worn out from rubbing on the engine. The original real cover wouldn't fit with the webers, I originally had solexes, but they were a royal PITA. the weber setup is a few inches narrower.

the original front structure is the same as mine (large square tubing) although the drawings call for smaller stuff (I have quite a few of the original drawings).

Would be really interested in pics of the front of the motor, oil routing, and any build sheet info you might want to share. It will be several years before I get mine back together.

Thanks! We couldn't figure out why they were that way until we saw a FF from the era; same basic nose but with a radiator up there... We made a small under-tray for the master cylinder area too.

As I think of parts we've put on this chassis I have to add that we installed new, lightened CV's and custom Taylor axles, new SBS battery, all new stainless brake and clutch lines...

yep that era Royale FF was hottt, i think Bob Earl won the runoffs albeit with those Mickey Mouse ears removed and the radiators relocated lower

Super Vee shopping in the mid-seventies got to see a TON of Royale tubs in a storage trailer at Bill Scott's (Summit Point, i believe) those tubs were amazingly simple and stout (looking)

reflecting upon the formula scene, others may have built fewer and better cars but Carl Haas/Lola and Reynard really did sell a LOT of cars

It is truly "race ready", just add gas. And maybe check the tire pressures.

One set of slicks has never touched the track, never been on the car.

After exchanging a few emails with an interested party we have to reiterate that this is a complete, race-ready chassis with NO preparation necessary.
No assembly, no tuning, nothing...
