Default Running rFactor on Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello,

Quite some time ago, I purchased rFactor V 1.255 (the DVD) and promptly did nothing with it. At this point however, I think that this is something that I would like to get into.

I installed rFactor V 1.255 on my recently purchased Windows 7 machine (64 bit) and found that I can't get past the configuration screen. How can I get around this? Is there a patch? I'm not finding much on the net, but I can't be the first guy to run up against this...

    Help?

    Thank you,

    jebfour

I am running the same set up with no problems for what it's worth. I would try to remove and re install the game.

After seeing this on one of the many places I looked.....

Right click on rFactor.exe and set to "Run as Administrator"

Problem solved....but now I have a TON to learn!

That was the next thing I was going to suggest. Windows 7 is good for that trick.
