Default Pace Oil Pump

I have an almost new Pace Oil Pump on a formula ford & despite turning the pressure right down it is still pumping at 150psi and blowing oil filter seals. I've pulled it down and all seems okay. Any ideas?

I have the same thought; you back it out to reduce pre. not turn it in. Sure you are setting the adjustment in the right direction?

Take the pressure relief spring out and make sure the plunger is not seized. If you have proper bearing clearance and the correct weight of engine oil, you should not see 150 psi even with no pressure relief at all.
