Default Fit Min and Max RPMs

For those that have been racing the Formula Fit for a little while, what are the minimum and maximum rpms that you are using? At what point does the rev limiter kick in and what rpms are you shifting at?

Thanks,

Ray

Default RPM

6750 Max ecm 6751 ecm shuts down
pulls well to 6600
lowest rpm om V-tec 5400

This info is based on 29.5 Plate
the 30.5 may have a different range( but I doubt it)

Great, thanks. I'm assuming that you don't want to ge below the 5400 rpm point then.

You can try to make a street car into an autocrosser or you can do a lot less work and make a race car into a great autocrosser

Tom,
Thanks for the pointer. I read recently in another post that a Fit motor was running a 31.5 restricter in a road race and doing very well. Anymore dyno info?
Mark

pro series runs a 31.0. Club is a 30.5
HPD had a sheet showing the 31 restrictor. You might call them and see if they will email it to you. If I happen to find mine, i will post it.
