    Default My Laps migration

    I did not know that My Laps created a new site. I followed migration instructions. and now all of my history is missing from the site.

    Has anybody else hadt his happen and how did you solve it?

    Currently, everyone is suffering the same fate... MyLaps is allegedly working on a solution... Good luck !

    Can an AMB/My Laps transponder, used by the previous owner of a car, be changed to my usage or am I forced to buy a new transponder?

    It can be transferred. You'll have all the data from when he owned the car as well though, unfortunately. At least that's how it was on the "old" site that worked.

    That assumes you have his login information. You can also get it transferred to your name with fresh account login for a moderate fee. Until they get their website working decently I wouldn't give them a dime. Meanwhile, whoever is doing timing and scoring at whatever event you attend will just give you data with the previous owner's name attached.

    You don't need his login information. When you register for the new race, register with the new transponder number and then also register the transponder number with your My Laps account. I needed to do this when we sold our FC and bought an FE with a transponder in it already.
