    Default Palmer Motorsports Park

Today we had the opportunity to tour the site at Palmer Motorsports Park. We as a group in the northeast must be doing something right, we had 15 FV drivers and 1 FST driver in attendance to represent VW open wheel racing. Pretty amazing turn out just to drive the track at 30-40 mph in street cars in November!

Track is paved and has some insane elevation, killer banked corners along with some amazing scenery! Still a ways to completion but they are very motivated to complete and have events this racing season. Looks like SCCA with have 2 competition points event in 2015 in August and September and possibly some sort of soft opening as we did at Thompson Speedway this past year.

The Northeast is a pretty good place to be a race car driver!

I agree. This is going to be a fun track! As always, it was great seeing everyone and glad that two of our future stars were able to make the trip (Mitch and Jeff). Congrats, you two, on your new FV purchase!

Hopefully Palmer can make some good progress and be ready for 2015. I can't wait to drive it!

Were there any concerns regarding the runoff area?

Still a lot to do....I would say we need to wait until curbs and Armco are in place.

Awesome is an over used word, but this new circuit is awe inspiring. One of the most exciting tracks I have ever seen. 165’ of elevation change (according to my GPS) and the view from the top is…awesome!

New England Region has some photos of the Palmer Open House posted on their Facebook page. Some of the photos give you an idea of the magnitude of the undertaking going on in central MA. https://www.facebook.com/NERSCCA/pos...54869428040541

It should be a hell of a track!

Just from the pictures, looks like a great track. The elevation changes and the corners!!!
