    Default wheelbase tolerance

What is the general opinion on tolerance on wheelbase? I have 1/4" difference L>R. I know they should be equal. But after re-measuring both sides and all else equal that is what I have on '96 VD.
    Thanks

IMO, that is no big deal. It is better to be equal within 1/8", but I've had around that much difference side-side on some of my cars, and it caused no problems.
