FF finale at Firebird Main

I stopped by this morning to see the first warm up session at Firebird main track. This was probably the last road race weekend on the main track that is going to be redone for NHRA events , beginning this winter.

Good turnout in Formula Ford. I didn't have time to stay all day, due to work constraints, but was glad to see some old friends, and meet some new ones.

Nearly ten on track for the weekend. I have never driven on these treaded Toyos, that are the spec tires, but I am looking forward to it. They are the same tire that they run in the Canadian 1600 Series.

As best as I can tell, from the input of several front runners, is that the setup is near the one for American Racer slicks.

Front runners were ahead of backmarker FMs, and such.

My old Crossle was there with it's new owner. Any pics of a black and white Crossle?

Yes. Absolutely one of the best looking Crossles there. I complimented him on the condition of his car. He was trying to say something to me, but my eyes were fixed on the custom shock towers on it.

He mentioned that you were a great seller, and followed up afterwards, willing to answer questions. He is happy with the car.
