I was making measurements for set up pads that I'm building and discovered the wheelbase of my '82 Reynard is 93". Seems a bit odd to me as I recall the '83-84 cars being 96". Checked it a couple of times; it's 93". I know there are differences between the '82 and the '83-84 cars (primarily in the rear suspension), but I didn't think it was in the order of 3" change in wheelbase. Anyone know the history behind this evolution.

    Thanks,

I checked a number of old sources that described the '82 Reynard when it was introduced. They all reference 94" wheelbase, same as the '83 I had many year ago.
