    Nice looking car!

Do you have any history on it? Who raced 77B/23 in period?

I am thinking of going vintage racing and went to look at this car to get an idea of what is avaliable. This car is brand new! The owner apparently has a habit of buying old, ignored racecars, totally rebuilding them and then selling them. It must have cost more than the asking price but because I briefly owned a 75B March and sold the complete running car for 6k, I would have a hard time spending 55k on one. Also, the owner was a big Jackie Stewart fan and he painted a thick coat of clear paint over the large ELF decals,so they are perminant now. The shop also had a beautiful example of the car of my dreams, a McLaren 8F with 510 cube chevy, only 300k.

    Paddy,

Check the 1980 March atlantic for sale at http://race-cars.com. It is a good car wioth a lot of vintage potential and great spares. I think the owner will negotiate a bit.
