Electric Fired Fire System Question

I have a Lifeline electrically fired system.

When I push the fire button, with the plug unhooked from the bottle, which pins should I read voltage between??

Or is there some sort of interlock or something that won't allow it to work if it is not plugged into the bottle.

I have the connector inserted into the battery box and get a green lite on the box when I push the little white button on it. No other switches on the box like I have seen on other systems.

There are three pins in the connection. The two opposing pins should show voltage.
