    does anyone know the where abouts of a David L. Newton. He raced club ford in a crossle 20f mid 70's.

    You might try one of the vintage racing organizations. I saw David a few years ago at the Lime Rock vintage festival with his Crossle F5000(!). Yep, a F5000 - one of two produced by John and Leslie.

    Jeff,

    You might try Ted Wenz at Marcovicci-Wenz Engines (631-467-9040). Ted raced a McRae F5000 in vintage for several years and might have more contacts. Perhaps Neil Porter could help, also.
