Does anyone have a manual or operating documentation for or other carnal knowledge of the Racetronic Electronic Fuel Injection setup as used on SCCA Pro Formula Super Vee RT5's back in the day?
I'm hustling to finish a down to the tub rebuild on my RT5 to make a race in 2 weeks and I have the Racetronic setup but no documentation. And while it's a pretty simple setup that I can figure out by experiment, I'm hoping that someone has knowledge that they're willing to share.
In particular, how is the Trigger wire setup? I'm using an MSD Electronic Ignition with crank trigger, but running the spark thru the VW distributors rotor and cap. The otherwise unused points are the logical Injection timing device - when Cyl-1 is firing spark at 36 degrees BTDC, Cyl-3 injector is pulsed at 36 degrees BBDC, etc. Is it as simple as running the trigger wire thru the points to ground?
Also, the Adjuster Screws, A and B, which is Low throttle and which is High throttle? A previous tuner has marked mine on the bottom with "A=1, B=5, at 2.2 bar". I would guess that A is low throttle, and B is high throttle, and that those are Turns OUT.
Can anyone help me?
