It should look like a Chevron, same designer, he went to Chevron when Quest folded

    Default Front rotors placement!

Interesting to put the rotors inboard of the upright . I have to think about that a bit. At first it seems that it adds weight? You need to bolt up to the rotating shaft twice. Once for the wheel outboard and again at the disk. Not saying it is bad, I just noitced it. But trying to see if there is an advantage with this configuration

Cooling maybe? Also perhaps having the disk and rotor inboard make it less of a moment arm?

That's a really slick car. GLWTS!

Its one way of installing larger diameter discs without caliper interference. The front discs look like the same ones I had on the rear of my Royale, which would have been 10” dia.

the Fosgrini had discs like this way back in the day

AFAIK this is the only one in the country. I've only located one other, out of a planned run of 20
No roll bar # visible---but Cape did take it to the runoffs once

As for the brakes, it may be due to their idea of having the upright, axle, rotor , caliper common to all 4 corners

Although the Quest was very successful with Johnny Herbert driving, he was recognized as such a talent, that I don't think the success translated to sales. Also, keep in mind, that in those days, other than Reynard and VD, virtually all the other FF manufacturers were working out of garden sheds in somebody's back yard. In winter of 84, I went on a tour of the FF factories, and only two were proper production facilities. While it is incredibly impressive to successfully manufacturer a race car under any circumstances, it is difficult to convert that into production and sales.

It also looks to be very safe, with lots of strong triangulation. I remember Herberts car having a double roll bar, very much like a Top Fuel dragster. He looked very cozy in that.

    I'm 5'10" 205#
Shorter inseam, longer torso, so I was quite a bit forward, meaning I need to add a lot to the roll bar if I keep it
Also fire bottle was behind my shoulders

Unfortunately the owner decided to part the car out. I know a couple of us wanted to save it from this fate.

... and wrong, in my distant opinion. Only been for sale for seven weeks, rare cars deserve a buyer and certainly somebody would buy this.

Could have been a cool tribute car to Johnny Herbert's winning Quest or Kenny Brack's 86FF.
