Default LD 200 Front Seal Replacement

    Merry Christmas!

Need to replace the input shaft seal that fortunately decided to leak while sitting on the garage months after the last race.

I am looking at the drawings, and it appears that the input shaft has to be removed???

    Thanks!

correct. the seal is held in place (or the input shaft) by a retaining ring.

Crap. Not as easy as a Mk 9.
Anything that I need to be wary of?
    Many thanks!

I would be asking why the input seal started leaking after the car has been sitting for months. With the correct gear oil level, the seal is only in play when the car is in use. I have only had the seal leak when the bearing was broken.
