Default 1981 Van Diemen Axles Wanted

Looking for a pair of axles for a 1981 VD FF. Not sure but earlier years may fit. Tried Primus but they are out of stock.

    Any leads appreciated.

Gordy I have had David Clubine at BritainWest have custom length axles made for me fairly recently (Lola 492). They are pretty nice. All you need to give him is the overall length I would suspect.

    cheers,
    BT

If you give me a length I will have a look, if we have to make them the lead time is pretty long these days....

It looks like they would be 15 1/2 inch, give or take an 1/8th.

Thanks for the responses. I did find axles listed for a VW in that length, need to verify the 33 spline count.

Give the Doug's a call at Fast Forward, I know they make the later ones.

    Gordy,
You probably already know this , but gun-drilled axles (as opposed to stock VW) will far outlast stock.

Turns out they are off the following:

1969 VW Squareback Automatic - Left rear

I got mine from Rock Auto, part number 8068, at a very good price and they included the CV's.
