    Default Non-reservoir shocks for a RF-79

What are the "available" options for double adjustable aluminum shocks without reservoirs for a VD RF-79?
My search here found steel bodied shocks from Koni, Spax and Avo. Is there a favorite make/model?
    Is anyone using QA-1 shocks?

    Thanks
    Mike

Penske 2000's, but they are worth more than the car!

I got aluminum konis via truechoice, but it was a very long time ago. IIRC, they are sort of custom.

Evidently Truechoice is gone and it's now Performace Shock. they show 8212s on their website but no price.....

Tom Duncan (odddog) uses QA1 shocks on his PRS Club Ford. He has been working with QA engineer to get the high speed damping just right. Try messaging him directly. I think they are about $300 a shock.

Happy to sell you some AVO shocks that are correctly shimmed for your springs. Just let me know your free lengths, spring rate, and delivery address - by PM,

Can have them delivered direct from the UK to you.

    Default Penske 7500

Penske 7500 double adj would be my first choice for serious competition.

If they are in the budget, Koni 8212’s are the best dampers for the treaded tires. They aren’t cheap, but I wouldn’t put anything else on a serious effort treaded tire FF.
