Sounds like that newer Track Management team is really putting their stamp on the place....

sure it's the track? funny how every time SVRA runs Cal Speedway we have to pay to camp overnight, but when VARA runs a race you don't....

Wonder what the SCCA charges are at both places.

Six nights of unpowered camping at Laguna Seca for the 2014 Runoffs was $450.

Not sure SCCA had anything to do with it, I think the campground is run by Monterey County.

Regardless, it’s in California after all... which would be fine if that kind of mindset never gravitated east or north.

Campground spot with no hookups at the Historics in 2019 was $400. I don't know if non-entrants could get those spots but I think so?

Maybe Dee can give more detail about who was charging $2000 and where the site was?

We rented a house in Carmel for family and crew. Had a great trip with a nice surprise of meeting Clint Eastwood at dinner one night.
Lost a valve lifter after the the second qualifying race that kept me out of the feature race, but was able to fix once returning back to the race shop in Portland, OR.
