Default FFCS at VIR, Wild Hare, April 1-3....(no S2 in our group)...

Once again, the FFCS is returning to VIR. This is a fantastic track seemingly made just for Formula Fords.

In the past, the FFCS has been combined with the S2 group for both sessions on the first day of the weekend and this has resulted in some........issues.

The members spoke and the the FFCS executive committee listened. Over the winter the committee negotiated that ALL FFCS sessions will be stand alone, meaning, no mixed groups, no other cars out there with us. Just Formula Fords. This new racing arrangement has been embraced by both the S2's and the FFCS. Win/win for both groups.

This year the FFCS fully expects to bring back our famous BBQs. However, Sasco Sports puts on such a great spread, this year the FFCS will only be doing a short wine and cheese buffet to allow everyone to enjoy our own FFCS company and then scoot over to Sasco and enjoy theirs. Again, win/win for everyone as we get to partake in both.

As I mentioned, the track is super fun being wide and long enough for everybody, front of the pack, middle and back, to have great, fun, safe racing. This is becoming one of my favorite places to run.

We have wreaths and ribbons for the first place finishers as well as a nice, cold bottle of champagne with our special label. At each race, we also award the Field Champion Flag to whomever embodies the FFCS spirit. But... you get nuttin unless you join us for our season opener at VIR. Last I looked there are still garages and accommodations available at the track and close by but they are selling out quick so sign up soon. Early bird sign up ends March 25.

Sign up early to save money and so we know how much beer/wine/cheese to buy.

Come and join us, it is shaping up to be a huge, fun weekend !!!!....

Allan Buttrick and the FFCS Executive committee. Su Moran approves this message. ....
