Original rFactor had an [unofficial] Lola CF. I may still have a copy of the file if you choose to go that route

There’s a Russell Alexis Mk 14 for Assetto Corsa:

This is certainly not my area of expertise, but I was under the impression that Formula F/F1600 racers were using the Skippy cars in iRacing. Similar lap times, speed, and handling.

I drive an FF and use I racing. The closest thing I have found and use is the USF2000 car. Using this car I run lap times about 6 seconds a lap faster than I do with my FF on the same track. I like practicing on a car that is faster than I can go in my car, (with in reason). It improves your timing and car control and reaction time. You have to tune the chassis and wings to work for you. For me, this had the closest car feel and tire grip to what I experiance on the track.

The Gen 3 Spec Racer on iRacing runs times similar to FF
You can use 2-5 for a closer gear ratio as well, only downside is it is a paddle shifter.

Are any OW cars on iRacing not paddle shifters?

ProjectCars has an FF. I think they call it Formula Junior or something like that. It is a fairly modern Kent powered FF car.

In iRacing, I have used the Skip Barber car for similar lap times to FF.

Back before I went to college there was a simulator called netkar-Pro that I raced in a league. They had european FF1600s and FF1800s.

Assetto Corsa was developed by the same company. Haven't played Assetto Corsa yet though.

    Default Alternative

For iracing I detuned a Lotus 49 F1 car. I started by limiting the throttle to about 60 % and shifted way below the normal rpm. I turned the limited slip all the way down and then shortened the gear ratios until they matched my vintage Titan gear usage.

It did take messing with suspension settings, sometimes by trial and error but I could drive it around Sonoma Raceway and Laguna using the same gears and throttle applications within 1 to 2 seconds of what the FFs run. Did take a lot of messing around. If someone is interested I can supply the settings I use.

The key was the latest updates to the tire dynamics model.

Default Some modern FFs for Assetto Corsa

    Here's a link: https://perendinator.blogspot.com/se...pen%20Wheelers

You can find a Mygale w/ a Honda motor and a modern Van Diemen w/ a Ford motor by scrolling down. Both treaded and slick tire models. They're a bit twitchy. I've found that softening the rear a bit and making some other suspension tweaks will help counteract the snap oversteer.

This page has some really decent mods. Make sure you download his drivers and extensions so the physics are all up to date.

You can change the iRacing set up from paddle to sequential. I have used the sequential on USF2000, Pro Mazda, Skippy and SRF.
