I am opening a new track facility in South Florida, partially to accommodate the loss of PBIR and would like some input from a person with track safety certificates.

Talk with K&K Insurance up in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. They used to do the safety inspections and certifications for all of the Indy car tracks. Unfortunately, the people that I knew that did that for them are now all retired, so I can't give you a name to talk to - I'm not even sure if K&K still does that any more! I'll contact someone who just retired from there a couple years ago to see if they still do that work and get back to you.
Yes, K&K still does track safety inspections as a major part of their review to see if the track is insurable.
Give me a chance to turn laps there - if I don't crash - it's safe enough.
