Obviously the blue paint and Loyning sticker on a cam cover from an older photo of the car is creating some confusion, this explanation will also be confusing but here it goes:

There was a "Loyning" engine in the car, it dropped a valve a couple years ago so was removed for freshening. In the interim we bought a good used engine, installed it in the car and raced it that way while the ex-Loyning engine was being rebuilt by Ivey. The engine currently in the car WAS that Loyning engine - it was rebuilt by Ivey and installed in the car last winter so I consider it to now be an "Ivey" engine. We did swap the old Loyning Blue valve cover (with Loyning sticker now removed) back onto the fresh Ivey engine because there's a AN "T" fitting at the back that matches the vent plumbing.

Records show that the temporarily installed good used engine that is now the "spare" was last serviced by Clarkson Engineering in Lehighton, PA, May 2012. It was still running fine and had good leak down numbers when removed but has unknown run hours on it.

What really matters is what's in the car today which is an "Ivey" engine, very low hours, runs perfectly and has a cam cover that's painted blue.

    Default Jeff Glenn?

I am not sure if this is a Jeff Glenn car. The car shown in the images the #33 is a DB5. http://www.jagpromotions.com/racing/...privateer.html He bought this car from JR Parrish. I was Jeff Glenn's roommate at this time and do not recall Jeff having a DB2.
