    Default RF-94/95 Header Support Bracket

    Gents;

    In the absence of having a pristine example lying around that I may buy, may I trouble anyone for photos of the stock bracket, and perhaps dimensions, please?

    There were no brackets anywhere near the header on my car.

    Bolted to the head and the next support was near the gearbox.

    I would think connecting the header to the frame would cause even more vibration.

    Where does it go?

    VD 94/5 here. Exhaust headers individually bolts to block....of course....after that the four into two into one runs back along side of engine and the one links itself to the car via hose bracket that attaches to a piece that comes off the side of the support for the rear wing.
    that's it

    The stock piece relies on you having a totally stock exhaust. I just welded a muffler clamp to a long piece of tubing, and positioned it so it would bolt to one of the unused pads on the gearbox.

    I had an annoying exhaust vibration/rattle at Idle on my 2012 Elan Ztec.

    I made the attached bracket to support the exhaust after the collector. I did not use a clamp due to heat expansion (thanks Dave W), but did make it snug enough that it completely eliminated the issue.

    Here are pictures of the mount on my 94. The Springs work good to hold the exhaust while allowing some movement. It doesn't rattle.
