    Default 2005 Ewc Schedule

Here is the 2005 FF/CFF East vs West Challenge schedule:

May 28-29 Grattan Raceway Park (Western Michigan Region)
July 9-10 Blackhawk Farm Raceway (Blackhawk Valley Region)
August 13-14 Road America (Chicago Region)
September 10-11 Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Ohio Valley Region)

These are all double regional weekends. The best six of eight races will count towards the FF/CFF driver championships. All finishes will count towards the East vs West team championship for the Lamont Cup.

Contingency awards will again favor those who make the effort to tow through Chicago. Details on the 2005 EWC contingency award program to follow in separate announcements. There will be some nice surprises for 2005. Nobody will want to miss the Saturday evening prize drawings. As in previous years, we'll have the usual surprise and delights: reserved paddock areas, tech talks, etc.

I appreciate everyone's input into this year's schedule. The fourth race weekend was a difficult choice. If everyone who runs the series tows through Chicago at least once, we'll average over 30 cars per weekend and we'll be able to add a fifth event to the schedule in 2006.

See everyone in only 141 days at the Grattan test day....

    Default Ooops!

Please note that I have corrected the Road America dates on the "2005 EWC SCHEDULE" post. The correct dates for the Road America EWC weekend are August 13-14.

Very sorry for the confusion. Thank you, Jon Adams, for bringing this mistake to my attention.
