Post Let's go racing! RCFFS @ Summit Point on August 20 - 22

    Hello Drivers,

Next up is our race at Summit Point on August 20 - 22 register now. The racing will be awesome as we race with our FRP host and enjoy 2 1/2 hours of track time! For those already registered, thank you. Now call a friend to join you.

We're planning to have “micro" classes again - CF Treaded, CF Slicks, FF Slicks, and FF Treaded - depending on who registers. Registration links, the schedule, and other useful items are on our website.

Just a reminder that RCFFS is a series for drivers by drivers. If you need help getting onto track, there are folks who can help you. Whether it’s needing a part or finding the gremlin in the engine, there are people who can help you both now and at the track. If needed, SCCA Annual Tech Inspections will be available to competitors at the event.

As always this is an inclusive race event catering to Formula F cars (FF, Formula Ford, CF, HF) of all eras and configurations as well as drivers of all ages with minimally demanding requirements - slicks, treaded tires, Kent, Cortina, or Honda power.

Looking forward to seeing you and seeing your name on the registration list. Register now!

    Yours for the sport,

Angela Slocum, David Gernert, and Will Velkoff
    RCFFS Liaisons

    Default Video of races 2 & 3

Once again RCFFS put on an exciting weekend of racing at Summit Point. A big Thank You to the RCFFS liaisons, David, Angela, and Will.

The racing at the front of all 3 of the RCFFS races rivaled the FF1600 races for close racing, lead changes, and close finishes. Unfortunately, with the long delay to recover cars from the FF1600 race on Saturday morning, I forgot to start the camera on Phil's car and did not get any video of that race. I screwed up. It was an exciting race.

However, I did get video of races 2 and 3 on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Races 2 & 3 both involved hard fought battles for the win between Phil Kingham, Wayne Nicolette, and Derek Holmes. This can be seen in the second half of the race 2 video and throughout the whole race 3 video.
