I'm hoping to find a qualifying and results sheet for a regional race held on April 9th at IRP by the Indy region. Anyone have it? I tried looking at Indy's site, but it's lacking old results.

Sounds like an oppotunity for functionality on the site...build a front end for loading results (probably by users/drivers from the event, not be regions) or a means to deep link into mylaps.com
Sorry, I'll take off my software product managment hat now...

Keith-
We raced that weekend. I know we have results, somewhere, it will be a matter of finding them though. I'll do my best.
HAH! I remember that weekend! You guys were running a Vector then, weren't you? I asked one of the crew guys what the name of the paint color on that car was and he said, "blue."
LOL, that was a big help.
That was our first race, if I'm not mistaken.
Yes, that was quite the weekend. From a downpour on Friday to snow on Saturday, not to mention our various first race of the year problems, it ran the gamut. We were just reminiscing about it over Christmas. I have to check with my other brother, I think he has the results.
By the way, it was Chevy truck blue.......
Going through some old pics, we happened to be next to eachother on the grid too... That's us in our first car ('90 Reynard). Do you like the ride height we had in the car? It was set up for IRP.

I know we raised the ride height on our car substantially after only 8 laps on Friday. We did it in the trailer Saturday because it was so cold. I have been to many races over the past 25 years, but that is still the only time I have seen cars, formula cars no less, running while it was snowing.
A perfect weekend for a Driver's School and your first time in a Formula Continental! Oh yeah, and the car had a bad ground and wouldn't start with the starter. I believe the third bump in the paddock to the false grid start ran over my foot and knocked the wind out of Pops after a triple sow cow in the mud.
I'll never forget that snowstorm driving down there, too.
What the hell were we thinking?
No success yet guys, but I will keep looking.
Wasn't John Norton there that weekend, too?
Thanks for looking Todd. I appreciate it. I don't know if Norton was at that race or not. It was our first event so we don't really remember anyone else who was there. Lessick was there I remember. Chuck, where you at?

Sorry I can't be of help. I think I've only attempted one race outside of Blackhawk
and Road America and it was at Gingerman. That place still owes me!
Slipped a tooth on the cam and couldn't figure out why the engine was running horribly!
Those weekends make you want to stop racing.
John
Nine years later and success. We found the qualifying results sheet, I saw it with my own eyes, and I think the race results are also with them. Still interested?
LOL! Wow! Resurrected this one!
Yeah, I don't think I ever found them. If it wouldn't be too much trouble to scan...

Finally!
I was there!! I remember loading up the race car in a snow storm. Drilled a hole in my finger nail early in the weekend working on my old Van Diemen RF82 FF that my friend Paul Reineck bought from me months earlier. Then I rolled my ITB Rabbit GTI 3x coming off the staging lanes into the right hander that dips a bit at the apex. Hit that sideways.
Wow, that was over 14 years ago.
