Default Which Spade Terminal On Back Of Alternator?

The alternator on my PFM isn’t charging. When I removed it from the car, one wire was attached to the ring terminal post and the other was on the spade connector with the plastic extension on it.

I also noticed the yellow marking on the body of the alternator near the other two spade terminals.

Anyone know where that spade terminal wire is supposed to be attached to? I’m thinking it was on the wrong one and that’s why it it’s not charging. Typically, alternators don’t stop working.
