    That's too bad. Mark was a good guy. I really enjoyed our talks over the years and he was a valued customer.

    Although I think we only met once, I always enjoyed his calls looking for some, old, obscure Hewland part (not sure why he thought I'd have it).
    No mater why he called, the conversations will be missed.

    Sold him my large toolbox when I left Long Island and went to work for JLP in 80. Enjoyed our chats over the years. Another character that will be missed by those who knew him

    Craftsman bottom with Mac or Snap on top?
    Who were you working for on LI back then?

    He did try to get people involved with motorsports. A lot of people passed through his shops.

    as I recall it was a large snap on bottom box. I crammed the rest and dogs into a uhaul and headed south from LI to georgia. I worked at Grand Prix SSR in East Setauket as the Van Diemen importer. Worked with Mark as he was a friend of Ted Wenz.

    He was living with Ted for a while. Ted was at GP after he left Stimola's and then he hooked up with Peter M.
    Back in the day we had so much talent here on LI

    Ted and I were it at gp ssr till late 1978 when we hired some full time guys. Marco was still at stimolas. Tom Davey and Peter Kuhn and AFFA pro ff plus s cca
