Lifeline Halon Bottle - Charged and Free

I recently changed out the fire system on my S2. I have an old Lifeline Halon bottle that I'd like to get rid of. It is fully charged. I won't ship it. It's located outside of West Chester, PA. Photo shows the bottle installed in the car before it was removed.

What are the cables that go into what looks like copper tubing going into the bottle. For the life of me I can not figure it out unless they just appear to go into the bottle form the angle of the pic

It looks to me that the upper copper tube bends to the left just before it hits the tank. It's just a cable guide. The lower one is likely similar.
