    Default Afff fire bottle

    Had to use the fire system in the car today.
    afff type. Clean up tips? How is it on paint
    belts, seat etc.

    Although your AFFF is low-expansion compared to high-expansion like an aircraft hanger has, this video still has good guidelines for cleanup.

    Even though it's much less material and you really don't need to worry much about ground contamination, foams still contain some hazardous materials and you should wear PPE like mask, goggles and gloves and dispose of them properly afterward. ESPECIALLY goggles because this stuff is a major eye irritant.

    If you know the particular "flavor" of the foam you should be able to find a Product Safety Data Sheet in order to determine potential hazards. (Example https://385xpfxe1e13almu7u8sj31b-wpe...2019-07-24.pdf )

    It is aqueous foam. Just clean it up with rags and water. Done it more times than I would like to admit.

    I have a refill kit for AFF system
    One bottle of concentrate and a CO2 cartridge. and puncture disc
    PM if your interested.
