I along with several Challenge Cup drivers have found that the Porterfield's need to get to operating temps
then cool down
On track several very hard stops then a non braking lap should do it
A better method is in Paddock or open lot try 5 or 6 full stops from 30 mph
or so . Let brakes cool while sitting .
They seem to come in faster than carbo Techs and don't swell and drag like the
old greens
I got 2 full seasons on my last set.
good Luck
I broke in my Carbotechs driving in the paddock.
Was not sure if this worked with the Porterfields.
Thanks
Which compound are you using? Looks like there is a R-4 and a RD-4. I am about to order some...thanks!
I am using RD-4
